STATE DEBATE COMPETITION RESULTS
Thousands
of students participate each year in this
outstanding partnership program which is administered by NEF.
The
State Debate Competitions were held April 28th and 29th
at Hunter High School. A total of 108 students participated
in the Elementary Competition of Friday, April 28th, representing
the following schools: Alta View, Canyon Rim, Eastwood,
Fossil Ridge, Fox Hills, Hillsdale, Hobble Creek, Jordan
Ridge, Mapleton, McMillian, Morningside, Mount Loafer,
Mount Logan, Oakridge, Oakwood, Parkside, Peruvian Park,
Sunrise and Upland Terrace.
A total
of 92 students from the following Junior High Schools
competed on Saturday, April 29th from the following schools:
Churchill, Desert Hills, Dixie Middle, Intermountain Christian,
Lava Ridge, Midvale, Mount Logan Middle, North Star, Oquirrh
Hills, South Jordan, Tooele, Wasatch Junior and Washington. |
