Disaster Relief- Donations

This fund will collect donations from the general public, businesses, and various organizations through a variety of methods. The fund can receive donations through checks and credit cards by mail and also on-line at www.NEF1.org. The capital will be used to purchase renewable energy hardware to power necessary equipment for services needed for first response efforts after a disaster, ideally within the first weeks after an event. Funds will also be used to certify equipment, market the program, transport equipment to site, transport deployment teams and educate users with minimal overhead.

To donate to the Renewable Energy Disaster Relief Fund (REDRF), make checks payable to National Energy Foundation. Be sure to note REDRF on your check in the memo area or include a note that these funds are for disaster relief and what disaster you want the funds directed to.
