Disaster Relief- Advisory Board
The Renewable Energy Disaster
Relief Fund has partnered with the Florida Solar Energy Center and
other standard organizations, research institutes, and disaster organizations
to assure that cost effective and viable renewable resources are
deployed to meet the energy needs of disaster survivors and aid workers.
The Florida Solar Energy Center created the program with the National
Energy Foundation and maintains an Advisory Committee of renewable
energy and disaster experts. The Disaster Advisory Board will oversee
the program and select viable solar/renewable equipment for deployment
after a disaster, as well as provide training and technical support.
