Salt Lake Clean Cities Coalition
has the goal of expanding the number of AFV's being operated in the stakeholder area and establishing a self-sustaining, cost-effective AFV infrastructure in order to achieve public policy goals of improving air quality, energy independence and economic growth. SLCC was established in 1993 to encourage the greater use and understanding of alternative fuel vehicles (AFV's) and to achieve a USDOE Clean Cities designation. The stakeholders of the Salt Lake Clean Cities Coalition work diligently to promote joint public sector/private sector development of a sustainable alternative fuel vehicle market in the Utah Salt Lake City/Wasatch Front geographic area.
