Professional Development

Teachers who implement any of the National Energy Foundation Programs
listed below may earn Professional Development credit.
Teachers must register for a course and complete the course requirements.

The course credit choices will include:


Teachers who reside outside Utah need to check with their district regarding relicensure points.

Professional Development provides the following benefits:

1. A plan for professionally improving skills and expertise
2. Graduate credit and licensure points.
3. A plan for utilizing experts in the fields of energy, water, natural resources, technology, conservation and the environment
4. Enhanced classroom teaching methodology and educational practices.
5. Current information and background on energy, natural resources and the environment.
6. High quality, innovative instructional materials and resources that are easy to implement and use.
7. Methods for building content knowledge, attitude strategies, creativity development, and integrative real-world problem solving.
