Wind Energy in Action is an interdisciplinary program that includes learning activities for the elementary and secondary levels plus a kit which enables the teacher and students in cooperative learning groups to investigate the complexities of electrical generation while building and testing model wind turbines for their classroom. Along with the kit teachers receive three NEF instructional posters; Renewable poster Electrical Generation poster the Eye Chart poster and two Energists- the Renewable Energy Sources Energist and the Electricity Energist. An Energy Basics CD-ROM will provide the teacher with information resources and additional activities related to energy. This program can stand alone or serve as an excellent compliment to Energy Fundamentals Energy Action Technology and Energy Action Patrol. Grades 4-12
