The Out of the Rock Workshop is an exciting three-day program. Participants will enhance their knowledge of mineral resources and mining, and will receive Out of the Rock materials including the new activity guide, DVD, music CD, posters, and rock kit. Workshop activities include a field trip experience, expert guest speakers, and participation in hands-on activities that will help implement ideas into the classroom. Course content will include topics related to energy, natural resources, mineral resources, and mining. Program materials will be correlated to state core curriculum, K-8. Lunch will be provided each day. Space is limited so register today!
