WE'VE
MOVED!
New office helps NEF more closely live mission.
National Energy Foundation (NEF) is pleased to announce its
new address at 145 South 400 East in Salt Lake City, Utah.
By relocating,
NEF is looking forward to more closely living its mission
of “cultivating
and promoting an energy literate society.” The new
facility is a former house which was built in 1902 but was
renovated for office use. By utilizing a renovated building,
NEF is practicing a principle of sustainability. NEF has
taken additional steps in more closely living the mission
as well.
By replacing the lighting from standard incandescent bulbs
to compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL), NEF demonstrates the
various levels and types of energy conscious lighting available.
The
new carpet in the facility is made from recycled products
and the employees have initiated a more fervent, rigorous
recycling
policy thanks to more accessible recycling programs. The
location of the new office has allowed for greater flex in
schedules
and transportation opportunities for employees including
walking, mass transit and carpooling. NEF is looking forward
to being
located in a walk-able community, if you’re interested
in visiting or discussing our new facilities please contact
